Overview :
We are hiring a Customer Service Executive for a leading freight forwarding company. The ideal candidate should have good communication and coordination skills, with the ability to handle customer enquiries, shipment follow-ups, and overseas communication efficiently. The role involves coordinating with overseas partners and customers, managing quotations and shipment updates, and ensuring smooth communication throughout the shipment process.
Job Responsibilities :
- Coordinate with overseas agents for shipment enquiries.
- Prepare quotations and follow up with customers for nominations.
- Handle coordination with overseas agents and customers after nomination until shipment arrival.
- Follow up for payments and ensure timely collection.
- Maintain and update enquiry records regularly.
- Update DSR (Daily Status Report) on a daily basis.
- Ensure timely and professional communication with customers and overseas counterparts.
- Coordinate internally with operations and related departments for smooth shipment handling.
Job Requirements :
- 2 – 3 years of relevant experience in customer service or freight forwarding operations.
- Preferably from the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong coordination and follow-up skills.
- Good knowledge of computer operations and MS Office applications.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
