Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented professional for the role of Manager / Assistant Manager for a leading company in the FMCG. The candidate will be responsible for managing accounting operations, MIS reporting, reconciliations, statutory compliances, inventory coordination, and financial reporting activities. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate effectively with internal teams.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Handle day-to-day accounting and finance operations.
  • Prepare and analyze MIS reports, profitability reports, and cash flow statements.
  • Monitor receivables, payables, and debtor ageing.
  • Manage stock reconciliation and inventory control activities.
  • Coordinate with sales and warehouse teams for stock and billing-related matters.
  • Handle VAT, TDS/TCS, and other statutory compliances.
  • Support monthly and annual financial closure activities.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and assist in fund management.
  • Assist in internal audits and statutory audit processes.
  • Monitor schemes, claims, debit notes, and supplier reconciliations.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and financial controls.
  • Prepare management reports and conduct variance analysis.

Job Requirements:

  • CA Inter qualified.
  • 2–4 years of experience in Accounts & Finance functions.
  • Experience in FMCG, distribution, or beverage industry will be preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, MIS reporting, reconciliations, and statutory compliance.
  • Good analytical and coordination skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software/ERP systems.
